During the course of the week we had soooo much help. Rod, Ben, Jacob, Elaina, Elisabeth and Alex.

Brothers Larson, Norman, Ewell, loaned equipment and physical labor. We even had Amanda Norman towards the end.

We got advice from Bro. Sutton, Bob, Glenda and Rusty

They worked from sun up to sun down, taking very little time in between. Rod was on the roof all the time, his crew just kept changing.

At 3pm on the 14th (1 hour after the roof came off) we had over 50 people at the house to celebrate Tuckett and Kaesy's baby Maxine, Elisabeth and Alex cousins party and Grandpa Randall and June's birthdays.

It was quite the day.

On Friday the 13th we began the overwhelming task of removing the 29 year old roof from our house. By Saturday at 2pm, Rod, Ben, Jacob, Alex, Byron Larson and his brother-in law Jeff and nephew Cory had it all off and on the ground.

We then spent Monday and Tuesday picking it up and hauling it out to the land fill, 4800 lbs worth!

No this is not the same foot. The other one was male, this one is female. But you can tell it all runs in the family.

Jolene sprained her foot, but she does have nice color.

Guess Who!

We have had several opportunities to attend PorSha's dance recitals. She gets better every time.

BayLee finished the 6th grade getting straight A's and is now taller than Elisabeth. But don't tell Elisabeth she thinks they are the same size.

So we fixed the problem and replace all the upstairs windows and the glass sliding door in March.

Half a world away we saw and did some amazing things. But all good things must come to an end and so it was with us.

Back accross the channel and then we made a 'short' stop at Stonehenge. They have this fence to keep people from carrying off any of the rocks.

At the Blarney Castle we all took the opportunity to kiss the Blarney stone. This would be Rachel, not that she needs the gift of gab.

While visiting the Cliffs of Mohr, aka the Cliffs of Insanity, in Ireland, Elisabeth and Rachel went a little crazy!

At the end of the Royal Mile is the Edinburg Castle.

After 2 days in London, we joined our tour group and headed into Scotland.

Elisabeth almost cried when her feet touch English soil, and here they are on the bridge in front of Big Ben.

Our first meal in London was at the Hard Rock Cafe. We visited everyone they could find in every town we went in, but ate at just 3.

We stopped at Utah Beach, Omaha Beach and finished at the American Cemetery in Normandy. What a sobering experience.

We saw military bunkers, floating docks and other WWII artifacts left behind.

After 2 days in Paris and Versaille, we headed west to the Normandy coast. We took some time to visit the monastary of Mont St. Michael.

It's unbelievable how they built that on this little island out in the water. Everything had to be carried over in boats.
